A custom-built Canyon Creek Badger single-shot, bolt action rifle, chambered in .17 Fireball donated by SUNDOG FIREARMS especially for the SCI Convention.This rifle is built around the legendary COOPER FIREARMS M38 barreled action with a custom serial number 'SCI 08'. Features a 22-in blued barreled action and a Badger, hand-checkered, AAA+ English walnut Monte Carlo stock with a shadowline cheekpiece, ebony forend tip and grip cap with engraved silver inlay and a steel, engraved heel and toe buttplate with checkering in the field. The rifle is also extensively engraved on the muzzle, breech, reciever, bolt knob, scope rings and bases. Topped with a matte Leupold FX III 6 x 42 mm riflescope laser-engraved by Leupold with .0035 dot reticle. Also included is a model 4004 deluxe single rifle case, donated by AMERICASE. Case has blue velvet interior with SUNDOG, SCI and AMERICASE logos embroidered on the interior. Case is included with the donation rifle by SUNDOG FIREARMS and measures 50-in x 10-in x 3.5-in.
